Shout out to Quadio (A NYC based community and record label for next generation music creatives) for sending us this songstress known as Talia. Talia is a young new artist out of NYC with a uniquely fresh sound. A sound resembling a euphoric dreamscape that momentarily takes you away from reality. While most young artists are still finding their musical identity at this stage in their careers, Talia is a rare exception that has fully embraced an identity and sound that will imprint the culture of music. In this session, we filmed her in the stairwell covered in vintage clocks tucked away in the basement underneath a church in this performance of her original track “Refresh”. The song and setting couldn’t have complimented each other any better. It truly was the perfect setting for this song.
