Traklife Live Sessions: Idrise
American singer, songwriter, and audio engineer Idrise is the next star on the line-up for this season’s Traklife Live Sessions. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, but raised in Vallejo, California. As mentioned on his website’s biography page, being a veteran of the U.S. Air Force gave him the opportunity to travel the world which opened up a wide range of international exposure, mainly in Europe. This gave him the advantage to have many collaborators on a worldwide aspect including working with Grammy-nominated/Platinum-selling Producer Luigie Gonzalez and co-writing music with the likes of Steve Diamond and the Jackie Boyz.
Idrise has a list of accomplishments including having appeared twice on the top 10 list of the Deutsche Black Charts (DBC) in 2015 and earned a spot on Belgium’s iTunes Top-200 list with his track “Lloret De Mar.” He later charted on the 2016 Deutsche Black Charts Year-end Top 200 list two more times with “Netflix & Chill.” These singles have accumulated over 850 thousand streams on Spotify alone.
