Traklife X DS Night Market

Right in the heart of Chinatown, the DS Night Market lit up the night with all the vibrant energy of an Asian street market—right here in LA! This time around us at Traklife Music got to collaborate bringing in some of our talented artists from our community.

As an LA local, I’m always searching for unique night markets and flea markets to check out. Not just as an attendee, but also as one of the coordinators, I could genuinely feel the energy and authenticity in the space. There was a strong sense of community that made the whole experience feel meaningful. I even had the chance to meet the person who started it all—shout out to OAK. Hearing his story gave me a deeper appreciation for what makes this market so special. He created this space not just to showcase food and vendors, but to share culture, uplift his community, and even kicked off the night with a performance of his own.

Of course, the food and vendors were incredible—but the live music brought everything to another level. Traklife featured amazing performances from Jaimar, Imkennethy, Angela Mona, Loop Phishers, Almira Zaky, and Le Khoa, all sharing their original music with the crowd. I wasn’t just proud of them as part of our community—I was genuinely vibing with the mix of unreleased and fresh tracks.

> Jaimar and his band brought all the vibes, performing tracks off his latest album Loved by a Leo.
> Imkennethy came through with raw energy and charisma, getting the crowd hyped and fully tapped into his story.
> Angela Monas set was the start of it all and left a very meaningful message. Especially when she connected it with her music with a dance break or singing it straight to her family that took time to come show up for her performance.
> Loop Phishers switched things up with their signature electronic/hip-hop fusion. Their set was a total vibe shift—in the best way.
> Almira Zaky brought the house down with her powerhouse vocals and heartfelt performance. She made a point to connect with the crowd, speaking about the importance of representation and showing exactly what that looks like through her music.
> Le Khoa closed out the night with a smooth blend of pop and R&B. His track All Killer No Filler was a crowd favorite—and honestly, one of mine too. The energy he brought to the stage was the perfect send-off.

Every performance felt intimate thanks to the cozy setup between the small stage and the crowd. It wasn’t just a show—it felt like a shared moment. As someone helping behind the scenes, that connection made everything feel so worth it.

And of course, shoutout to DJ PRNCEHR for keeping the energy alive throughout the night, seamlessly blending tracks and keeping everyone moving between sets.

I’m so excited for more nights like this. Events like DS Night Market are more than just something fun to do—they’re a way to reconnect with the community, spotlight emerging artists, and celebrate culture in the most real way possible.
