“I Think You Should Leave” – Single Review

Already poised to make a major breakthrough this year – her then-demo “Lie About You” went viral on TikTok – this track shows off OSTON’s smooth vocals and lyrical dexterity. 

The song is an ode to brushing off negative people in your life. “I think that you should leave,” she singsongs over a catchy beat. “Keep acting a fool like that // you’re gonna be super lonely.”

In a press release about the song, OSTON shared, “You know that one person that shows up to the party and starts talking about themself, making everyone feel bad, and ultimately having everyone wish they’d just stayed at home? Yeah, this song is about that person. This could also be the guy at the bar who decides that since he hits on you, you should be so lucky enough to follow him home and spend the night however he’d like you to. The moral of the story for this guy is – and always will be – sorry dude, just don’t be a dick 🙂”

The song was created with longtime collaborator Drew Polovick. He’s also the executive producer of her upcoming EP. 

The music video for “I Think You Should Leave” will premiere April 14 on Fashionably Early. The singer’s sophomore EP, Am I Talking Too Much?, will drop later this year.
