Underground Music surfaces at The Hideout

Last week, we had the pleasure in putting together a live music showcase of some early risers in music. In collaboration with Akron, OH artist Yacobucci, we created a live performance platform to bring creatives in music together to enjoy and discover some up and coming talent. For this event, Songbird Cafe, a Chinatown Speakeasy in Los Angeles, hosted us with a vibey environment in an intimate setting with craft cocktails which included our custom drink of the night, “The Yacobucci” a cinnamon style mule.

The crowd was the star of the night as they filled the room with positive energy as we packed the venue wall to wall from 8pm to midnight enjoying live music from artists Jamel, Radio Ahlee, Phern, Stasi, and Yacobucci. Check out gallery below for photos from the night courtesy of photographer, TinTin.

Who Is Alfred Nomad [Artist Interview]

Alfred Nomad is an artist we’ve loved at Traklife since we’ve discovered him a few years back in 2019. Not only is he a quality musician but an advocate of all things positive and is driven to serve the creative community and the culture of Hip-Hop. He definitely has a great story to tell from his early days as a poet to making the leap to move to Los Angeles to pursue music. It’s been a rollercoaster ride of a story that only he and his music can tell and to this day, he’s persevered and grown a lot in the process.
