The artist sums up this feeling in the bridge of the song: \u201cOut of this world is where I belong.\u201d Haven\u2019t we all felt like that at one point or another?<\/span><\/p>\n

In a statement released with the song, kate the dreamer said, \u201c\u2018lovely\u2019 is one of the hardest songs for me to release so far. It\u2019s an honest reflection of how I feel, right now, in this moment. It has no happy or sad ending \u2013 it is simply just a testament of my truth. It\u2019s how growing up feels to me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cMy hope is that this song helps anyone who feels a little bit lost when it comes to growth. This song allowed me to throw the struggles of my mind into space. The process of growth is wildy uncomfortable most days, and \u2018lovely\u2019 is a reminder that you\u2019re never alone in that process.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The track was preceded by singles \u201ccall u when i land\u201d and \u201ci don\u2019t wanna know you anymore.\u201d It will also feature on her upcoming EP.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
