Indie pop band Muna brought the heat with their hit-filled setlist at The Glass House in Pomona, CA on 4\/20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 800-capacity venue is adjacent to a record store of the same name in Downtown Pomona, which is filled with small locally owned boutiques, restaurants and a Starbucks. It is also in the same vicinity as the Fox Theater, where boygenius played their first full-length live show in five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As fans started to slowly trickle into the venue, the opener, Taylor Simone Harvey, began 10 minutes earlier than her original set time. Harvey and her band were coordinated vocally, instrumentally, and fashionably as they all had matching merch jackets from Harvey\u2019s merch store. She began her set with the song \u201cEverybody\u2019s On Stage,\u201d the title track from her latest LP<\/a>. The 40-minute set saw her perform most of the songs from the album including \u201cPapa,\u201d \u201cBreathe<\/a>,\u201d \u201cI Flirt With Fame\u201d and \u201cBe Real With Yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 During her set, she noted that this was a special moment for her opening for MUNA. She recalls that she and Muna\u2019s guitarist Josette Maskin went to a music academy together growing up. She then ended her set appropriately with her spoken word jam \u201cGet Off The Stage.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MUNA then came on promptly at 9 pm, opening with their banger \u201cWhat I Want.\u201d Compared to their other headlining shows, this one had no visual backdrops, which added to the intimate aesthetic. They blazed through their one hour and 20-minute set with \u201cNumber One Fan,\u201d Stayaway,\u201d \u201cNo Idea,\u201d an acoustic rendition of \u201cLoose Garment,\u201d \u201cSo Special\u201d and \u201cPink Light\u201d along with some deep cuts from their 2017 debut album Around U<\/em> including \u201cCrying On The Bathroom Floor(!)\u201d the title track, and \u201cWinterbreak.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sold-out show was also a full-circle moment for the group. Lead vocalist Katie recalls that Harvey gave the band the opportunity to open her show at a small venue in Brooklyn in 2016 as they were starting out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They then brought out a special guest who goes by the name Sadie, a blown-up toy horse that was making its way through the crowd during \u201cAnything But Me.\u201d The group also played their latest single \u201cThe One That Got Away,\u201d which they premiered during their set at the first weekend of Coachella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The set ended with their hit songs \u201cI Know A Place<\/a>\u201d and the Tik-Tok favorite \u201cSilk Chiffon,\u201d where they brought out Harvey to sing Phoebe Bridgers\u2019 part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
