Not only is she a talented singer-songwriter and producer, but she is also an advocate for mental health. In 2016, Jhen\u00e9 formed the hip-hop duo Twenty88 with her on-again, off-again boyfriend and rapper Big Sean. He appears on several of her songs, such as \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/track\/2nvmHk4JnsZ94mygliLsou?si=c31660feff994de1\">Moments<\/a>,\u201d \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/track\/1DlMzdRaFpIABvx07jCgvQ?si=37248cb9f82d4919\">OLLA (Only Lovers Left Alive)<\/a>,\u201d and \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/track\/75MSZRbAbQuzfUV3Pefvut?si=9ed93b21a21847e5\">None of Your Concern<\/a>.\u201d Aiko was nominated for three Grammy Awards for&nbsp;<em>Chilombo<\/em>, including Album of the Year. In an <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/music\/jhene-aiko-opens-up-about-mental-health-journey\/\">interview<\/a> with <em>People,<\/em> Aiko shared how her mental health plays a role in parenting her 13-year-old daughter, Namiko Love. &#8220;I was physically feeling unhealthy and just seeing my energy level change for my daughter who is now 13,\u201d she shared<em>. <\/em>&#8220;As she gets older, it becomes even more important for me to be well. I see her going through a lot of the same things I went through when I was her age and I let her know, it&#8217;s taken me 34 years to really learn certain techniques when I&#8217;m feeling anxious or angry.
