Traklife Sound Market Returns to Chinatown with a Night of Discovery and Community

On March 7, the Traklife Music Community returned to Los Angeles’ Chinatown Central Plaza for another installment of Traklife Sound Market, presented in collaboration with DS Night Market. As the evening unfolded, the plaza once again became a meeting point for music lovers, food vendors, artists, and creatives blending culture, cuisine, and curated sound into a uniquely Los Angeles experience.

Sound Market isn’t meant to be a traditional concert stage. Instead, it’s a space for music discovery, where emerging artists and DJs share their work in a real-world environment, surrounded by the energy of a bustling night market and an audience encountering new music in the moment.

Throughout the evening, a lineup of artists from the Traklife community brought their own textures and styles to the stage. Performances from Ladie Beezus, Rainezra, Ianne Lloyd, Seph Tyler, Vews, Sareena Rama, Leon, and Jessz filled the plaza with a diverse range of sounds that reflected the creative breadth of the Traklife scene.

Guiding the evening’s flow were hosts LindseyDuzIt and Vews, who kept the crowd engaged while helping frame the experience as more than just a performance lineup. Between sets, attendees gathered around the stage, many discovering artists they were hearing for the first time which was exactly the spirit Sound Market was designed to cultivate.

Meanwhile, DS Night Market continued to deliver the vibrant atmosphere it’s known for. Vendors lined the plaza offering everything from street food favorites to unique local bites, giving attendees the chance to explore flavors while music from the Traklife stage carried through the crowd.

The combination of food, music, and community created a natural rhythm throughout the evening. People drifted between the vendor stalls and the stage, conversations sparked between strangers, and artists connected with listeners face-to-face, moments that simply don’t happen in the same way behind a streaming app.

For Traklife, events like Sound Market are an extension of the platform’s core belief:

Music is art. And art still matters.

By creating spaces where music can live outside of algorithms and playlists, the Traklife community continues to build environments where discovery happens organically. One performance, one conversation, and one new listener at a time.

As the night came to a close and Chinatown’s lanterns glowed overhead, Sound Market once again proved that when music, food, and community intersect, culture naturally follows.
